Before hiring or accepting work
- Review the profile, job scope, location, timing, and ratings.
- Confirm identities, qualifications, licences, permits, insurance, price, payment terms, and who will attend where relevant.
- Do not assume a profile or verification badge is a background check or guarantee.
- Keep sensitive information, passwords, verification codes, and full card details private.
Meetings and worksites
- Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to finish.
- Use a public first meeting when practical and avoid an interaction that feels unsafe.
- Identify hazards, pets, access restrictions, hazardous materials, and required protective equipment before work starts.
- Do not perform work requiring a licence or permit unless the responsible provider is properly qualified.
Prohibited conduct
Threats, harassment, discrimination, violence, sexual misconduct, fraud, theft, impersonation, fake jobs, deceptive reviews, unsafe instructions, illegal services, and misuse of personal information are prohibited. Provider account or subscription sharing, renting, reselling, pooling, or allowing another person to book jobs through your account is also prohibited. Do not pressure another user to share private contact or financial information.
Provider identity and device checks
The provider mobile app may bind a provider account to one approved device and request a front-camera selfie identity check from new and existing providers. After an approved check, the standard cadence is normally once per 48-hour period when a protected provider action is used. An earlier check may be triggered after a device-replacement approval, account recovery or identity reset, a failed, rejected, abandoned, or expired check, an app-integrity failure, or a documented safety or fraud concern. Routine seeker job posting does not require this provider check.
The current workflow uses authorized human reviewers as part of a manual review and does not perform automated facial recognition, face matching, or liveness analysis. A rejected, expired, or incomplete review may temporarily pause protected provider actions; it is not by itself a permanent-ban decision. Providers may retry where offered or contact support for further review, appeal, device-replacement review, accessibility help, or account recovery. Do not send a selfie, biometric image, government-ID number, password, or verification code through ordinary support notes. See the Privacy Policy for collection and retention details.
Report and review
Send the account or job reference, a factual description, dates, and relevant screenshots to support@pronearme.ca or call 1-844-828-2020. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or unnecessary government identification. We may preserve records, restrict features, investigate, request more information, or report serious conduct. A user may ask support to review an enforcement decision.
Limits of platform review
ProNearMe may review information submitted to the platform, but cannot continuously supervise users or guarantee identity, qualifications, work quality, payment, safety, or the truth of every statement. Seekers and providers remain responsible for their own evaluation and contracts.
